Societies (formerly civic associations) have historically functioned to promote various social interests of active citizens. Their applications range from sports clubs, non-profit volunteer organizations, to the organization of hobby groups, children’s camps, etc. Hunting is also linked to the associations themselves and is often carried out in an association form.
